Bella Bride: Jessica & Andrew

Both graduates of Southern Methodist University, Jessica & Andrew tied the knot at Perkins Chapel, right on the campus of SMU.

Aisle pews were embellished with pristine amaryllis blossoms and accents of cedar foliage and lush pepper berries. Winter white ribbon streamers coordinated beautifully within the white interior of the chapel.

For the classic white wedding, Jessica wore a soft Duchess satin gown with dramatic draping in the skirt. Her chapel-length veil – which was edged with lace - was the perfect finishing touch!

The bride’s bouquet was a soft arrangement in crisp shades of soft white, champagne, and cream tones. Oversized heirloom roses and exotic orchid blossoms, among other select seasonal floral blooms, gave it a varied and stylish look. Jessica loves the twinkle effect and asked for crystals anywhere she could get it! So we added crystal and bead embellishments within the bouquet. The stem was also wrapped with antique lace from her mother’s wedding dress and a triple strand of Swarovski Crystals.

After the ceremony, guests moved into the Garden Room at the Crescent Hotel for cocktail hour. For a fun, youthful appeal, the room was transformed into a modern, vibrant cocktail area with glowing candlelight and lighting.

The main entry hallway was adorned with a gorgeous draping of creamy ivory toned Dupioni silk fabric for an elegant entryway for arriving guests. The “magical feeling” was complete with glowing candlelight throughout the walkway and by setting the cake under the chandelier.

Dreamy shots of the romantically lit ballroom with lush, free-form arrangements…
