Bella Bride: Natalie Smith & Feild Patten

Newlyweds Natalie & Feild met years ago in Dallas whilst in high school only to reconnect years later finding that their true love was always in front of them. They were married this past December at Kessler Park United Methodist Church and The Belo Mansion.

Natalie carried a gorgeous bouquet designed with ivory hydrangeas, fragrant gardenias and delicate pearl studded stephanotis blooms. Natalie then provided a personal brooch to add a special touch to the soft textured creation.

The couple chose a color palette of classic ivories for the ceremony which featured a dreamy walk way of tall markers laden with ivory blooms and a dreamy altar filled with hydrangeas, phalaenopsis orchids, varying roses and cascades of dendrobium orchids.

Natalie's bridesmaids wore slate toned gowns and carried vibrant bouquets of fuchsia, violet and berry providing a glimpse of the vibrant tones to be used at the reception.

The reception was filled with a rich toned palette of violets, berry and and fuchsia accented with subtle splashes of decorative crystals.

A stunning ceiling treatment was created over the dance floor using strands of sparkly crystals and hand strung fuchsia orchid garlands.

Natalie's cake was one the prettiest I've seen in awhile complete with a ballerina inspired linen and an accenting of delicate stephanotis, roses and hydrangea blossoms along the descending layers.

There was definitely something "fishy" with Feild's cake. I'm just saying!

This wedding was such a wonderful way to end the year and we were thrilled to be a part of their special day. Congratulations Natalie & Feild!

Bella Bride : Casey Priest & Dr. Steven Shilling

Busy professionals Casey Priest & Dr. Steven Shilling met through the dating service "It's Just Lunch". They were married this past September at The Stone Leigh Hotel with a day filled with bold and vibrant tones, modern styling and so many special moments between their two little boys & girls.

Casey wore an ivory strapless creation by Marisa and carried a fuchsia pomander ball suspended with rhinestone straps so she could walk hand in hand down the aisle with her little ones in tow.

The altar area was decked with cascades of white phalaenopsis orchids and fluttery fuchsia garlands of calypso orchids. A romantic display of candlelight enclosed within glass cylinders were then tucked within the design to add to the soft and ambient lighting.

Violet and fuchsia permutations decked the rest of The Stone Leigh along with swank and modern ivory creations.

In lieu of a wedding cake, the couple served playful "bitsy" sticks at the end of the night.

Wallflowers were not the case on this dance floor!

We had such a great time working with Casey and her family and wish them all the best! Stories like hers are what really makes our job such fun and worthwhile.
