Bella Bride: Stephanie Velasquez and Andrew Szatan

Whew! How is it already almost 2011? Where has the year gone?! We've had a great year at Bella Flora and are looking forward to 2011 with our new brides =) But first, let's take a look back at this beautiful bride who celebrated her October 30, 2010 wedding in style. Stephanie and Andrew met seven years ago on Halloween and wanted to celebrate during their favorite time of year. This fun and positive group was so great to work with, and we are so excited to share their beautiful day with you!

Stephanie and Andrew exchanged I Do's at the Dallas Museum of Art in the beautiful sculpture gardens in front of the gorgeous water fall. The rich jewel tones were perfect for the evening ceremony.

The altar area was adorned with a beautiful and modern backdrop composed of a grand collection of vessels placed on top the clear Lucite table. Submerged floral and candlelight added an extra element of interest.

The aisle chairs were embellished with simple and stylish purple/violet hydrangea and ribbon streamers that flowed gracefully down the chair.

Stephanie's exquisite bouquet was designed using a glorious blending of deep plum, violet and Vanda-toned floral fashioned into a perfect pave bouquet. The design incorporated a blending of interesting textures
including lavender hydrangea, fragrant freesia, two toned calla lilies, Vanda orchids and grape muscari.

The stunning bouquet was accented with a crystal broach.

The bridesmaids were given gorgeous bouquets designed in floral in tones of deep violets, amethyst, raspberry, silver greys and vibrant splashed of fuchsia toned blossoms. The color palette accented their dresses beautifully!

What a handsome group of guys!

Andrew's bout. was designed with a unique Picasso mini calla that coordinated with Stephanie's colorful bouquet.

After the ceremony, guests headed to the reception in the Atrium which was transformed with fantastic lighting, exquisite linens and fabulous floral. I love how this picture captures the full "sha-bang" of Stephanie's vision.

What great detailing on the wall!

Select tables were adorned with a trio of tall glass flauta vases that were filled with fluttery blossoms of violet and lavender lush hydrangeas. The gorgeous and natural tone was complemented with  an array of lower lying mercury glass vessels that displayed soft textured mounds of all sweet stock, pretty garden roses, and calypso orchids.

Another selection of round tables were accented with a collection of glass vessels that were filled with fresh water and stunning lavender Dutch hydrangeas, phalaenopsis, and calypso orchids flowing over in a mass setting.

Cheers!

The masks were a huge hit!

These next few shots are great. Their exuberant energy is practically oozing off the page!

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Szatan!

Bella Bride: Kelly Bruney and Scott Hershman

Kelly Bruney and Scott Hershman's big day was anything but spooky when they exchanged vows October 30, 2010 at The Stoneleigh Hotel. This wedding was full of all things we love-- lush floral, a dash of bling and LOTS of pink! Kelly's girly personality shined through with her pink vail, polka dotted cake and unique bouquets. The ever so talented Sallee Photography captured the beautiful day. Check out the gorgeous pictures and the rest of the vendors that made Kelly and Scott's day possible.

This photo captures the essence of their special day perfectly. Ruffles, sparkles, a good lookin' groom,  man's best friend and gorgeous floral-- what else could a girl need?

In lieu of a traditional bouquet, Kelly choose a soft textured orb of all soft pink lush hydrangeas. The pearl accents made for easy carrying and a cute accessory all night!

The bridesmaids were given charming pomander orbs designed with solely soft pink rosettes all attached to black ribbons for easy carrying down the aisle.

The Ballroom at The Stoneleigh was transformed into a romantic setting complete with soft candlelight, white orchids and plenty of sparkle. The mantle served as the perfect backdrop as the couple exchanged "I Dos". Beautiful garlands of white strung orchids cascading from the mantle were accented by a curtain of beautiful sparkling crystal jewels. In addition, on top of the mantle was a mass collection of varying heights of candlelight. At the base stood tall cylindrical vases housing submerged white orchid garlands for a pop of color.

A black runner stretched from the aisle entry to the aisle and created a pristine path for the bride. Beautiful soft pink petals adorned the sides of the runner, adding a great pop of color. Tall glass cylinders created a soft glowing affect with floating candlelight and submerged soft pink floral.

Guests made their way into the Penthouse for the cocktail hour. Great food and interesting floral arrangements awaited them.

The mantle in the music room was adorned with a collection of glowing candlelight in both floating and pillared form. Vanda blooms, fuchsia orchids and unique succulent blossoms were placed within for added color.

The existing niches in the dining room were adorned with blue vases filled with a textural display of fluttery yellow James story. The yellow really shined in the blue room.

This is one of my favorite looks! The unique floral display and rich color really made an impact.

When guests returned to the ballroom for the reception, they were shocked to see the transformation. Beautiful blush ribbon overlays covered the tables, creating a beautiful textural element.

Each of the guest tables were adorned with a gorgeous arrangement designed with soft tones of blushes of pale pinks. A collection of glass stem candleholders accented the base of the tall arrangements creating a soft romantic glow.

The bride's fun cake sat on top a beautiful residential mirrored table to complement the overall decor.

Love this shot!

So perfect! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Hershman!

Bella Bride: Samantha Pulido and Mitty Jayaseelan

With holiday events in full swing, everyone is in over their heads in red, green and gold! We thought we would switch it up this week and reminisce over Samantha Pulido and Mitty Jayaseelan's enchanted wedding wonderland. The duo tied the knot April 10, 2010 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and continued the celebration at the Rosewood Crescent Hotel. Everything from the bridal bouquet to the cocktail hour was top notch on this magical evening. Thisbe Grace Photography did a fantastic job of capturing the tiny details throughout the day. Check out the rest of the team who assisted with Samantha and Mitty's special day. Enjoy!

Holy Trinity Catholic Church was transformed with dramatic lighting, gorgeous candlelight and lush floral detailing for the dramatic and memorable ceremony. Tall grand candle torches were embellished with beautiful floral in soft ivories, whites, champagnes and pale blushes and created a grand and romantic setting as Samantha preluded down the aisle. A blossoming display of cascading floral framed the duo at the altar, creating a most attractive backdrop.

Samantha's fluttery bouquet accented her gorgeous lace dress perfectly. The hand tied bouquet was designed with a lush blending of soft pink garden roses and soft pink Holland peonies with accents of lacey foliage.

The youngest flower girl was given a petite moss pomander ball with touches of floral. This fit in beautifully with Samantha's vision of "Mid Summer's Night Dream."

For the cocktail hour, the Rosewood Crescent transformed into an enchanted forest, complete with a masse of suspended glowing candlelight. The overall setting of the candles created a romantic glow throughout the room.

The walls in the Garden Room were adorned with beautiful natural growing branches accented with stunning oversized blossoms that creeped up high into the walls. The wall of branches created an amazing setting that cast a beautiful silhouette of branches and exquisite shadows of blooms.

A wishing tree table was constructed as the main focal piece to the Garden Room. The glorious, tall crystal tree was embellished with interesting free-flowing botanical floral and accented with fluffy hydrangea, garden roses, peonies, French tulips. blossoming cherry blossoms and orchids at the base.

A Mariachi band played during the cocktail hour, providing lively background music.

A unique escort card wall was embellished from natural boxwood garlands that created a pretty lattice design that framed the entrance to the ballroom. Pretty floral and guest cards were displayed.

Guests were in awe as they walked into the dining room and were greeted by a warm welcome of natural foliages, candlelight and elegant and sophisticated floral. A gorgeous display of white textiles was suspended from the ceiling to create a soft beautiful canopy disguising the ceiling above.

One grand central head table was complimented by two side rectangle tables placed near the dance floor. A clean procession of tall glass vessels housed tall gorgeous blossoms of cherry that gave great height to the room and added a great volume of color. Multiple collections of vessels were placed down the center of the table, resembling a beautiful textural runner of seasonal blossoms.

Square tables were also used to contribute to the unique setting. A tall abundant free-form arrangement designed with an iron grand seven-branch candelabra adorned these tables.

A collection of suspended speciality chandeliers designed with natural foliage created a captivating and dreamy look. The wonderfully organic display provided the most romantic and exceptional sparkling glow overhead for guests.

The first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Jayaseelan

Mexican folkloric dancers and Indian dancers took the dance floor to give homage to the bride and groom's heritage.

The bride's cake was adorned with a cascade of stunning fluttery blooms of pink peonies placed down the front side of the cake and spilling down onto the table.

Mini cakes presented on a green detail scroll print plate were adorned with fluttery ranunculus blooms in a soft pink tone.

The dessert station was filled with wonderful Mexican and Indian pastries displayed in the foyer of the ballroom.

Bella Flora was delighted to be a part of this enchanted wedding. Congratulations Samantha and Mitty!
