Bella Bride: Kathryn Zera and Garret Kent

When we first met Kathryn & Garret, we knew that their wedding would be centered around the union of their wonderful families, rich colors and textures, classic and elegant designs and above all Love.  They wed November 20, 2010 at Christ the King and The Hotel Crescent Court on a day that was exquisitely captured by the talented Thisbe Grace Team.

The stunning bride carried a classic bouquet of soft textured ivory blooms that included gorgeous peonies, voluminous hydrangeas, soft champagne roses and sweet freesia.  A beautiful rosary from the bride was then attached to the stems for that added personal touch we love so much.

The dapper groom also added his own personal and super charming accent that day with these awesome penguin cuff links.  Such fun!

Raspberry, violets and chartreuse were the primary wedding tones and complimented the bridesmaid and groomsmen wonderfully.  This is one of our favorite color palettes to use when designing for a fun and lively atmosphere.

The paper products were stylishly simple and letterpressed!  Jason Mc Daniel did an awesome job in keeping the tones consistent throughout.

Loving this ring bearer orchid creation that really amped up the berry tones.

The ceremony space was so dramatic and fitting for the wedding.  We chose a pure and lush palette of ivory, champagne and barely there touches of blush for the decor.

Absolutely love these next set of images.  These are some our favorite moments to see from the wedding.   There are no words to describe the love in the room!

Announcing Mr. and Mrs. Garret Kent!

For the reception, we chose to really enhance the space with vivid violets, raspberry, fuchsia and splashes of chartreuse green.  Kathryn and Garret love to travel so choosing an atlas of the world as a guest book was a brilliant idea.

The reception area was decked with a combination of tall, medium and low arrangements created with hydrangeas, garden roses, peonies, phaelo sprinkles and vanda blooms.  We then placed them atop varying stylish glass vessels and tucked hints of crystal embellishments throughout.

The dance floor area was adorned with this magical crystal ceiling treatment which really added a glam vibe to the overall styling.

First dance as newlyweds :)

Kathryn's cake was so creatively simple and chic.  Just a touch of floral really highlighted the delicious creation.

Garret's cake was too cute for words!
In lieu of favors, Kathryn and Garret made a donation to The Alzheimer's Association, The Cancer Research Institute and The American Heart Association in loving memory of their grandparents.

Cuvee really kept the party going that night.

I love that the band led the way to the exit. Way to keep the party going!

We absolutely loved this couple and feel very grateful to have been part of their wedding day!
Congratulations Kathryn and Garret!

Happy New Year ~ :)

Greetings everyone and Happy Belated New Year!  We're very excited for many new ventures 2011 has to offer and are even more amped to be working with an amazing group of brides.  We recently had the pleasure in meeting a very cool bride named Elizabeth Cline who will be getting married this April at her parents uber eclectic home.  I think her save the dates speak for themselves in the vintage styling and sweet personal touches.  We cant wait and just had to share!  Below is the sweet save the date from Memento Designs and a handful of awesome imagery from Shipra Panosian.
